Equipment must be operated in accordance with the instructions and specifications in the operating manual. Telonic should be informed of any apparent fault. Hire terms are weekly or four weekly and there is a minimum hire period of 2 weeks if the total rental is less than £100. The hire period is from the date the equipment is delivered to the hirer's site until the date it is received back at Telonic Instruments, Wokingham. If the hirer wishes to extend the period of hire, the hirer should contact Telonic at least 3 working days before the end of the initial agreed hire period. Hire charges will continue to accrue until the working day before the equipment is received by Telonic, or, if Telonic have agreed to collect the goods the day on which Telonic collects. Terms are nett 30 days from invoice date in respect of approved accounts, otherwise payment in full is required for the agreed hire period prior to delivery. During the period of hire, the hirer is responsible for insurance. The hirer is responsible for loss or damage whilst the hired unit is in their possession. If the equipment or accessories are irreparably damaged or lost, the hire period continues until the full cost of a replacement is paid to Telonic by the hirer or their insurers. If the equipment is damaged by accident or misuse whilst in the possession of the hirer, but is repairable, the cost of the repair, plus hire charges for the time taken for the repair, are payable to Telonic by the hirer. Telonic reserves the right to terminate the hire and to recover the equipment at the expense of the hirer if Telonic believes the hirer may be unable to meet its payment or other obligations to Telonic.
